Membership consist of poultry distributors, further processors, processors, transportation companies, marketing specialist and allied supplier companies nationwide. One of the most valuable assets of being a NPFDA member is the networking that takes place between our members. We offer many networking opportunities including the NPFDA Annual Convention and Poultry Suppliers Showcase held in Atlanta each year, Shared Interest Group Meetings and Facility Tours, and our Annual Fall Meeting. Together, they share ideas and solve problems affecting themselves and others.

NPFDA provides networking opportunities where members can exchange ideas and discuss challenges and opportunities facing the poultry and food industries. "NPFDA has provided me great opportunities to meet and associate with poultry buyers, distributors and other salespeople who are knowledgeable in our industry. This helps me stay better abreast of market conditions, trends and the events that allow me to stay on top of my business". NPFDA was started by a group of poultry & food distributors who recognized a true need for an organization able to deal with the problems of the distribution segment of the industry. Within the course of a year, NPFDA saw the need to expand membership with broad objectives structured to embody all segments of the industry and incorporate a "team" concept. NPFDA provides a great sounding board on poultry -related and business issues in that we can get other members' feedback on a range of ideas from insurance, labor issues, the state of the poultry market, etc. NPFDA also acts as a collection service for data and as a genuine "pulse" of the poultry industry. We do not always talk with you directly, but we do communicate with other members and know that NPFDA is there when we need assistance.
