Chicken Marketing Summit 2020 transitions to virtual environment
Webinar series to be held in place of the in-person conference
ROCKFORD, Ill, — April 16, 2020 — Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and WATT Global Media’s goal of ensuring the health and well-being of all Chicken Marketing Summit attendees, speakers, partners and sponsors, the 2020 Summit is transitioning to a virtual event. This will include a series of webinars featuring key speakers from the 2020 program.
“The challenges and opportunities poultry businesses are currently facing are changing daily,” said Terrence O’Keefe, content director with WATT Global Media. “The upcoming webinar series, scheduled to replace the in-person event, will provide insights on navigating current market conditions and critical decision-making ahead.”
Webinar speakers will address the expected lasting impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the chicken supply chain in their area of expertise, as well as other vital topics. Confirmed speakers include Charlie Arnot, CEO of Center for Food Integrity and president of Look East; Chris Dubois, senior vice president and principal for IRI; Meagan Ernst, senior marketing manager for Wayne Farms; Kelley Bailie Fechner, director of customer solutions for Datassential; Meagan Nelson, Associate Director of Fresh Growth and Strategy for Nielsen; Joyce Neth, vice president, director of audience development and engagement for WATT Global Media; Lexann Reischl, founder and principal of Opera House Communications & Advocacy LLC; and G. Donald Ritter, DVM, ACPV, director of technical marketing for Mountaire Farms.

Chicken Marketing Summit will return as the poultry industry’s must-attend event for sales and marketing professionals from throughout the chicken supply chain in 2021. The 2021 Chicken Marketing Summit is scheduled for July 18-20, 2021 at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation in Amelia Island, Fla.
